Mitch Epstein’s new photographic series, Property Rights, was featured in The New Yorker’s September 23rd Photo Booth feature. Art editor Andrea K. Scott writes:

One of the great accomplishments of Epstein’s new work is how he makes headline-grabbing subjects—immigration, federal-land protections that have come under threat or already been rolled back, and other abuses of American power—feel at once urgent and timeless.
